What does KIN stand for?

The decision to name the practice KIN came from a desire to highlight the importance of connection. When we say Kin we are not only speaking of family in the biological or legal sense, but also in terms of choice. Chosen-family has always played an important role in queer, black, brown, and POC communities. When we say Kin what we mean is connection, community, and belonging.
